It accommodates a 70 × 140 cm mattress with a maximum height of 15 cm — the standard European cot mattress size. The mattress platform adjusts to two height positions: a higher position for ages 0-6 months, making night feeds and nappy changes easier for the parent, and a lower position for 6+ months, which is safer once your baby starts pulling themselves up to stand.
The cot rails feature custom plastic teething guards that protect both your baby's gums and the furniture during the teething phase.

Three stages of use — from birth to school age

Stage 1 — Baby cot with chest of drawers (birth to ~4 years). The Combo Maxi functions as a full baby cot with an integrated chest of drawers for storing clothing, nappies and baby essentials. The two-position mattress platform adjusts as your baby grows and becomes more mobile.
Stage 2 — Toddler & junior bed (~4 to ~8 years). The cot rails are removed and the Combo Maxi converts into a children's bed, retaining the same external dimensions of 190 × 80 × 88 cm. For a safe transition, we recommend the Casababy Magic Pro bed guard rail, sold separately, which fits to the side of the bed. Please note: this stage applies only to Combo Maxi cots purchased from 2024 onwards.
Stage 3 — Children's desk with drawers (~8 years and above). In this unique final stage, the Combo Maxi transforms into a children's study desk with drawers — ideal for the school years, when your child needs an organised space for studying and homework. The drawers from the original chest become storage for books, notebooks and school supplies, giving the piece an entirely new purpose without requiring a new purchase.
