The Reine is designed for parents who want one single piece of furniture that covers every need from day one. The biggest difference from other convertible cots is the cradle function: in the first weeks, when your newborn needs the warmth and snug space of a cradle, the Reine is already set up and ready — the conversion kit and cradle mattress are provided with the cot at no extra cost.It is built from MDF and solid beech wood of high strength and quality. The triple combination of materials ensures structural stability, everyday resistance to wear and effortless cleaning — particularly important for a piece of furniture that will be used for years.
The 100% solid beech orthopaedic slatted base distributes weight evenly across the mattress, delivering maximum sleep comfort from your newborn's very first nights through to 6 years of age.
The mattress platform adjusts to two height positions: a higher position for ages 0-6 months, making night feeds and nappy changes easier, and a lower position for 6+ months, which is safer once your baby begins pulling themselves up to stand.
The Reine is available in a wide range of shades from the Casababy palette and can be manufactured in any custom colour for an 8% surcharge.

The Casababy Reine baby cot has external dimensions of 145 × 78 × 90 cm (length × width × height), which remain unchanged after conversion to a toddler bed. It accommodates a 70 × 140 cm mattress with a maximum height of 12 cm — the standard European cot mattress size.Construction materials are melamine, high-density MDF and solid beech wood, with all paints and surface finishes compliant with EN 71-3:2019 for heavy metal migration — 100% safe for babies and children.
The cot rails feature custom plastic teething guards that protect both your baby's gums and the furniture surface during the teething phase.
Three stages of use — from birth to 6 years
Stage 1 — Cradle: newborn to ~3 months.Thanks to the conversion kit included in the purchase price, the Reine functions as a cradle for the first weeks of your newborn's life — providing the snug, safe space that babies need at the very start. The cradle mattress is also included in the price.
Stage 2 — Baby cot: birth to 3 years.
The Reine converts into a full baby cot with external dimensions of 145 × 78 × 90 cm. In the early months the mattress sits at the higher position; as your baby becomes more active and mobile, it moves to the lower position for maximum safety.
Stage 3 — Toddler bed: 3 to 6 years.
The cot rails are removed and the Reine converts into a children's bed, retaining the same external dimensions of 145 × 78 × 90 cm. For a safe transition, we recommend the Casababy Magic Pro bed guard rail, sold separately.
